2009 AMO CONVENTION

   Indoor rules and regulations at Gateway Center

 

 

*Indoor Fees are Non-Refundable

 

*As an Entrant, I assume all responsibility for my person, guests, my vehicle, display, related items, before, during and after the show.

 

*Entrant may not move Show Vehicle during Show Hours. If, in the event of an emergency, it is necessary for the entrant to leave, Event Staff must be notified and staff will make arrangements to get the vehicle out of the building.

 

*Alcoholic Beverages, Pets, or weapons are not allowed in the Gateway Convention Center.

 

*Fire Marshal/Facility Regulations- All vehicles must comply with Fire Marshal Regulations including: Taping Gas Caps, Disconnecting Batteries, have less than 1/4 Tank of Gas, Fully Charged Fire Extinguisher displayed Drivers Side Rear Tire, leave 10 ft walkways by staying within your designated space and other facility requirements.

 

*NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE

FIRE MARSHALLS SHALL HAVE FINAL JUDGEMENT ON ALL SAFETY ISSUES!

 

*No Loud Music is allowed from Exhibitors Display. Noise should be kept to a minimum during set-up and when leaving out of respect for fellow Exhibitors.

 

*End of Show:  All entries will be required to remain in their designated space until the Show has ended!  At 4:00 PM all General Public will be required to leave the Convention Center. This Safety Rule will be enforced to protect the audience and children. Violators will be disqualified.

At that time, the show staff will direct an orderly exit of all the show vehicles from the building.

 

*Disqualification/Removal- Any Exhibitor who fails to follow the written Rules and Regulations or verbal instructions from Event Staff is subject to disqualification and/or be removed from the Gateway Convention Center. This also includes unsportsmanlike behavior, excessive profanity, or anything else deemed inappropriate by the Event Staff.

 

*Final Say- Event Staff/AMO Officers Reserve the right to alter or modify rules listed to enhance the event.

 

*All Entrants must register during designated registration times. Registration Cards must be placed on the Dash Board and visible to Field Workers and Judges.  It is the responsibility of the entrant to have the registration Card filled out properly and visible in the Staging Lanes prior to entering the convention center.

                           

  

*Exhibition Space: Spaces are issued in 10X20 ft sections. No Dented/ Damaged, Primered, Unfinished, incomplete Vehicles will be allowed into the Gateway Convention Center.

NO OBVIOUS LEAKERS (OIL, ANTI FREEZE, BRAKE FLUID, OR AXLE GREASE) WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE GATEWAY CONVENTION CENTER!!!!!

 

NO- Cleaning Fluids, Tire Cleaners, Waxes, Polishes or Flammable Liquids will be allowed inside.  (Additional details will be made available about cleaning.)

 

*No Saving Spaces: Exhibitors can not save spaces for vehicles that are not present.  All vehicles will receive their assigned spot at time of registration.

 

*Unsafe Operation: Operation of a vehicle at any time in a manner deemed unsafe by Event Staff/AMO Officers or Event Facility Officials shall be prohibited, including Starting the Vehicle during Show Hours, Reckless Driving, Excessive Tire Spin while entering, inside, or leaving the Gateway Convention Center Facility, etc.

 

*Classification: If for some reason after a vehicle is moved inside the Convention Hall, the Owner wishes to change the Class that his or her Vehicle is entered. It is the responsibility of the entrant to return to registration and request a Class Change. The Owner is also responsible to contact the AMO Concours Chairman to inform him that a vehicle’s Class has been changed and where it is parked in the Convention Hall.

 

***ALL EXHIBITION AND SAFETY RULES APPLY/DISQUALIFICATION***

ALL ENTRANTS MUST ADHERE TO THE “EXHIBITION SAFETY RULES” OF THE SHOW, WHICH ARE INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE HEREIN. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY EXHIBITION AND/OR SAFETY RULES MAY BE GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION AT THE DICRETION OF THE GATEWAY CONVENTION CENTER, EVENT AND/OR AMO STAFF.

 

 

 

 

 

 CERTIFICATION

 

I have read and agree to abide by the safety and restriction guidelines as outlined above by the Gateway Center, Gateway AMC and the AMO Association. I understand that failure on my part to abide by any of these rules / restrictions may result in the disqualification and removal of my vehicle from the facility. I also understand and agree to be responsible for any related costs from my inappropriate actions, including, but not limited to, clean up, fines, additional fees from the center, etc.
